Sales Horses

*FOR LEASE* LILAC Z

2000 15.2h Zangersheide Gelding

Zorro is one of those priceless horses who has a good heart but will make his rider work for what they want. He’s a more whoa than go kind of guy, but he’s stylish and safe as the day is long. He’s got smooth gaits, a knack for finding distances even when his rider doesn’t, and the most darling expression. He currently competes in the 2’3″-2’6″ hunters. Available for in barn lease.

*FOR SALE* DeNira

2016 16hand Oldenburg Mare

She is currently jumping 2’6 courses with a green change and schools second level dressage. Mid-fives

LOUNARO Z *currently leassed*

2006 16.2 Zangersheide Gelding

Lj is the ultimate three ring horse! He has many successful miles in the hunters, jumpers and equitation rings, with both pro and amateur riders. After a long career in the 3’6 ring Lj is looking to find a jr/ammy to teach the ropes to. He is best suited to a 2’9-3’6 job.

*SOLD* KEENELAND SPECIAL

2016 16.3h Unraced Thoroughbred Mare (Paynter X Crab Key)

Fergie is one of the most easygoing, trustworthy horses in the barn. She stands quietly at the trailer, is relaxed on the trails, confidently jumps 0.80m courses at local schooling shows, and has been schooled over Novice sized cross country jumps—plus she has a natural auto change! Because of her age we’ve been conservative with her training, but she has shown us that she has the capability to jump 1.10m in gymnastics. Fergie is the full package; she has the bold, scopey type of an upper level prospect combined with a super sensible, amateur friendly brain. With time and consistency she would make a great hunter jumper, but her big, well-balanced gallop and fearless personality makes me think she’d really shine as an event horse. Fergie would be well-suited for a tall intermediate rider that wants to produce their first project alongside a trainer. Priced in the low five figures.

*SOLD* BLUE SUEDE SHOES

2006 14.1h Pinto Gelding

Elvis has miles in just about every discipline imaginable. He’s got a record at rated hunter jumper shows, but has also participated in 4H and dabbled in western gaming. He’s game on course and has his changes. He shines brightest in the 0.75m-0.80m jumper ring. He loves to jump and will take a joke, but needs a gritty kid to tell him who’s boss so his cheeky pony side doesn’t come out! Priced in the low five figures or available for in barn lease.

*SOLD* JUST DUCKY

2009 15.3h Appendix Mare

Ducky is a fantastic first horse! She loves to work and has previously competed in the 0.80m jumpers, but she really shines at the cross rail to 2’3″ level. She has spent the last year being a unicorn in our lesson program. She has a rhythmic canter and a soft jump, which makes her great for riders that are just starting over fences. Ducky requires annual hock maintenance and benefits from a bit of Perfect Prep at shows, but overall she is a kind soul with an easygoing manner. Priced in the mid/high four figures or available for in barn lease.

*SOLD* DOX ROMANCE

2010 15.2h AQHA Gelding

Romeo is so friendly; he’s basically a golden retriever in a horse suit. My fourteen year old working student has a blast hacking him and I’ve even used him in the occasional IEA lesson. He could be a great lower level hunter or jumper with more miles, or he could easily dabble in the western disciplines. He is currently schooling 2’6″ courses and is consistently getting his lead changes. He has been taken to his first schooling show and can be trusted to always gets to the other side of any fence he’s pointed at. With his sporty AQHA pedigree he would be a fantastically versatile 4H or Pony Club mount. Priced in the lowest five figures.

*SOLD* WILD GOOSE CHASE

2010 16.1h Thoroughbred Gelding

Goose is registered with the Jockey Club under the name Job Creator (E Dubai X Lovely Cozzene). He’s funny, curious, and so sweet! Goose has been back to full work since December. He’s well-schooled and has easy changes. His lateral work is becoming stronger as he gets more fit. He’s easily coursing around 2’9″-3’0″ and has evented to Novice level locally with good placings. I could easily see him going Training+. He is a good guy but will require someone with an understanding of OTTBs. UTD on shots, great for farrier, and hauls like a dream. Priced in the mid/high four figures.

*SOLD* UPTOWN GUY

2001 14.3h Appaloosa Gelding

Soundview’s number one schoolmaster is such a superstar that he wasn’t even officially listed when he sold! You’ve never met a more solid citizen than Buckle. He has a real talent for taking riders from their very first canter to their first small courses. His new barn is already head over heels in love with him! The Soundview team absolutely adored Buckle, and we’re so happy to know that his new home has a stable full of tiny new students for him to teach—all while being totally doted on, of course!

*SOLD* LIFE IS A GLORY

2015 16.1h Thoroughbred Gelding

Legs is not your typical OTTB! He is totally buff. He has the build and the looks to match. He has a solid dressage start and has taken up jumping like a pro. His canter is dreamy! He is a no nonsense kind of guy, with a great brain and no buck, bolt, or spook. He would be suitable for a teen/amateur to develop with trainer guidance. Legs has the best work ethic and lives to hear “good boy”. His owner is relocating out of state and Legs is being offered for a bargain. Priced in the mid four figures.

*SOLD* ARMS WAR

2012 16.3h Thoroughbred Gelding

Raglan is a horse that has talent and scope to spare. He is bold and forward thinking. He has shown at local event derbies in the Beginner Novice and Novice divisions. He’s successfully navigated Training level obstacles during cross country schooling. With a couple more schooling sessions, he will be ready for his first recognized event. Raglan is green, but shows a remarkable aptitude for jumping that could easily carry him into the FEI levels of eventing. He requires an experienced rider. Priced in the low five figures.

*SOLD* MISS SNOOKS

2008 16.3h Thoroughbred Mare

Cleo is an attractive and kind mare. She is currently showing in the 0.75m jumpers. She shows scope and a willingness that will take her up the levels. Cleo is started on lead changes and lateral work, and with more miles could go in any direction. She even has cross country experience! Priced to sell in the mid four figures.
